Set against the stunning waterfront panorama of PSA Corporation Ltd (PSA)’s Keppel Terminal, this exclusive experience at Lobby Lounge on Level 32 of The Westin Singapore invites guests to discover Singapore’s maritime heritage through taste, storytelling, and view.
As the sun sets, a representative from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) will share insights into the rich history of spices—once among the world's most prized and fiercely contested commodities as you enjoy the selected local spiced gin tonic, the city's port comes alive below, where history and modern global trade converge. Learn how spices, including those reflected in your drink, journeyed along ancient maritime trade routes to Singapore centuries before refrigeration made long‑distance preservation possible. The experience also explores the significance of the Keppel Terminal vista, tracing the evolution of container shipping and how Singapore's port transformation reshaped global trade.
